St Joseph's Welfare

We raised £162.68 for St Joseph's Welfare.

Children from 1/2L and 1N made the clients of St Joseph's Welfare Christmas cards and our fabulous Chaplaincy team wrote prayers for them.

A warm thank you to all who contributed to another successful fundraising event, ran and organised by our dedicated Caritas Ambassadors.

St Joseph’s Welfare Centre in Collyhurst supports vulnerable, isolated older people living at home in North Manchester, delivering a very highly valued visiting an support service for people with limited mobility, declining coping capacity and poor mental health.

Help varies from a friendly ‘chat and check’ to escorting the client on their weekly shop and may also include lifts to a range of appointments.

On Tuesday 5th December the staff had a Christmas craft day and we help a staff bake off. We then sold the cards and raffled off the cakes.

On Friday 8th December the ambassadors help a charity tea and cake party in aid of St Joseph's Welfare. Thank you to everyone who came, donated and helped to organise.
