Returning to school
Start of the school day
Reception and Yrs 1 – 6 will be returning to school on Thursday 3rd September 2020.
Nursery children will be starting school on Monday 7th September 2020 (mornings only).
Yrs 1 – 6
Children should be brought in by one parent, please, between 8.45am and 9am. Staff will be at the main gates to inform parents and children which classroom that they are going to. Bins will be available by the main gates for disposal of children’s temporary masks – permanent masks will need to be removed and put into bags. Children will go straight to their classrooms, and not to the playgrounds, where they will be welcomed by teachers.
Reception children
Reception will start at 9.30am. Children should be dropped off by one parent, please, at the usual entrance and then walk out through the Star Club playground and past the meeting room.
Nursery children
Nursery will start on Monday 7th September at 9.30am. Children should be dropped off by one parent, please, at the usual entrance and then walk out through the Star Club playground and past the meeting room.
End of the school day
EYFS
Children should be picked up between 3pm and 3.10pm by one parent, please.
Parents will pick up their child from the reception or nursery doors and follow the one way system (through Star Club playground and by the meeting room) to leave school as per morning routine.
KS1
Children should be picked up between 3.10pm and 3.20pm by one parent, please.
Yr 1 and 1/2 parents - please socially distance in the KS1 playground.
Y2 parents - please socially distance on the tarmaced area outside the Yr 2 classroom.
KS2
Children should be picked up between 3.20pm and 3.30pm by one parent, please.
Y3L, Y5G & all Y6 parents please socially distance on the driveway.
Y3L & Y5G children will leave through their own classroom doors.
Y6 Children will leave via fire exit.
Y3/4 & Y4 parents - please socially distance in the area outside of the KS1 playground.
Y3/4 & Y4 children will leave via the side door
Y5W children will leave via the main entrance to EYFS.
Y5W parents - please socially distance on the path outside the main entrance to the EYFS building.
Once staff see parents, children will be handed over.
If any parents want to speak to teachers, please make an appointment through the office.
